Review Thespian Individual Events categories and IE application. Introduce Monologue assignment. Students are to have selected one comic monologue and bring it to class on Wednesday. Monologue must be from a play and is to be no more than one minute in length.

The students will present their initial choice for a comic monologue. Monologue should be memorized by Monday, September 17.
Hand out and introduce Bruder's article The Job of the Actor. Students should read the article for Monday adn be prepared to discuss and develop a class definition of "the job of an Actor".
